     High myopia can cause serious, irreversible sight-threatening ocular diseases, such as retinal detachment, myopic macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataract. Myopia control in children is an important part of our practice. Specially designed spectacle lenses and Specially designed daily disposable soft contact lenses are most commonly used for children. Orthokeratology lenses are used while sleep at night, excellent for adults and children requiring good vision all day and are not suitable to wear eyeglasses or contact lenses in active sports, swimming and other water related activities.
